A Theodore Alexander carved figured mahogany writing desk in the George III style, modern, the hinged mechanical top lifts to reveal an inset gilded green leather writing panel, raised on fluted square chamfered legs, joined by an undertier, ending in block feet, with applied brass plaque to the interior inscribed "THEODORE / ALEXANDER". Dimensions Height 31 1/4in; width 28in; depth 17 1/4in. Artist or Maker Theodore Alexander Condition Report Structurally sound. Typical marks and wear, there is a small scratch/abrasion to finish on top of desk at front right corner, otherwise in generally good condition overall.
